What We Do

Each evening we lead lively discussions of astronomical events or developments.  Star charts are freely given to all and images of what objects can be seen in the evening night sky are displayed.  Then, weather permitting, we observe this month’s objects through large astronomical telescopes.  All are invited to bring their own binoculars or telescopes to the meetings.

      Dear John,
I went to “spaceweather” and it’s full of good information. Thanks for your input! Spaceweather says there is a possibility of a strong aurora display tonight, 3/15/13.
      Keep Looking Up!
      Astronomically yours,
